Who We Are

OpenFactory is developed at Concordia University, within the Laboratory for Advanced Manufacturing in the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Industrial Engineering.

Initially created for academic research and teaching, OpenFactory has gradually evolved into a flexible software framework. It is currently under active development and is being adapted for use in a variety of industrial contexts.

OpenFactory is released under the Polyform Noncommercial License 1.0.0, which allows for noncommercial use in academic and research settings.
